Because of the age of these beautiful Turkish rugs, some rugs have light wear but this just enhances the character and does not affect the quality. They are durable, beautiful, one of a kind and each one has a story.
All of our vintage rugs are photographed in natural light with no alterations made to the photos to try and show the best representation of the colors in the rug. Please know that the rugs will look different in different lighting and settings-indoor versus outdoor and they may look different on a phone screen versus a computer screen depending on your brightness setting. Please email us directly if you have specific concerns or questions regarding the color of a rug before purchasing.
Spot clean with cold water or a natural detergent if needed. Blot any spills and do not rub. For major accidents or if you want your entire rug cleaned, have them professionally cleaned by a company who uses natural products. When vacuuming your rug, always use a light canister vacuum. Avoid heavy-duty, industrial vacuums as these can damage the fibers of the rug and rob it of its natural gloss. A floor setting or floor vacuum will work well.
